Adobe Announces the death of FLASH!
It will not be a shock to most content creators but it is actually a key announcement and a very important announcement at that.
After years of Chinese whispers, hear-say, denial and counter denial, Adobe has formally announced that Flash will no longer ‘be supported‘ by the end of 2020.
Unfortunately Flash has had its recent security issues and has been ‘hacked’ a number of times unlocking security flaws in many IT systems. This is not the main reason why Adobe has acknowledged that the Flash days are over, it is simply that Flash is now too old (20+ years) and has been superseded by modern, fresh and lightweight applications of technology.
